At this laid-back joint, proprietress Karen Henry-Garrett (a Le Cordon Bleu London alum) puts out an ever-changing lineup of made-from-scratch goodness, like brown sugar flapjacks and smoked salmon quiche. She also throws dessert nights every now and then.

There are 40 seats for prime people-watching, but no matter where you settle in for that morning combo of coffee and fresh pastries, you’re guaranteed free WiFi and a view of selected artwork supplied by local community collective, Dot Art.
