You can count on one hand how many times you’ve put in a ballot for a president. But does your vote really count? This year, more than ever. Here’s a quiz to help you out.

Wednesday, October 15 is:
a) Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet show and a plethora of after-parties.
b) Your turn to buy a hump day round of drinks.
c) The last day you can register to vote in Massachusetts.

You’ve acquainted yourself with the candidates by:
a) Eavesdropping on politi-talk at the gym.
b) Guessing (what?).
c) Logging hours on sites like votesmart.org.

Others know which way you’re leaning because:
a) Your T-shirt says so.
b) They can hear you yelling your opinions up and down the block.
c) You’ve told them to vote, too.

To ensure that every vote really counts, you should:
a) Scribble inside the lines.
b) Spy on the ballot counters.
c) Volunteer to work the polls.
