Some things seem promising to start with but never quite deliver. (Like Tom Brady. And that Meat-of-the-Month Club subscription.)
Circle, however, is genuinely good all round. Set in the former Bob’s Southern Bistro, the South End’s latest eatery strikes a refreshing gastronomic equilibrium, pairing eclectic wines with a seasonal French menu.
You’ll eat pure goodness: All dishes — from an all-parts-used roast suckling pig with Anson Mills grits to classic mac ’n’ cheese — implement as many local, organic, and sustainable ingredients as possible.
As for that circular motif, it’s elegant yet understated, from the bar’s round-tile mosaic design to glimmering disc-shaped chandeliers.
What goes around comes around.
We’re only too happy it’s arrived.
