Sassy beret? Oui. Carla Bruni-Sarkozy bangs? C’est si bon. Taking the nonstop to Charles de Gaulle? No way, Jose.
Unless, of course, you’re Kari Herer. The Portland-based mademoiselle just returned from Paris and is bringing her pretty photographic mementos to you.
A former in-house shutterbug for fancy William Arthur stationery, Herer scoured flower markets in the city of lights, snapping pics of lush bunches of daffodils, anemone, ranunculus, and more. Now she’s offering the resulting prints — on a thick cotton-rag paper — for only $25.
Each of the nine shots comes stamped, signed, and dated (matting and framing is up to you). They’re cheery homages to Paris in the springtime and an easy way to breathe life into your chateau when times are tough.
Think of it as turning the other chic.
