Your well of activity ideas is quickly drying up.
And let’s be honest, small talk with a 1-year-old leaves something to be desired.
Babble on over to Mama & Me’s new location. The popular Newton spot that closed last November has finally found a home at the Brewery Complex in Jamaica Plain.
Take your pick of drop-in parent/child art and movement classes, as well as open play times for infants and kids up to age 5. A preschool readiness class for 2- and 3-year-olds prepares them to take the plunge with structured group activities, stories, art, and music.
Consider it a dry run.
Mama & Me, 284 Amory Street, Jamaica Plain (617-372-7448 or mymamaandme.com). Classes begin April 27.
