Dogwood Cottage Doggy Daycare Opens

Things haven’t been great with that roommate of yours,
The one that drools, and sheds, and walks on all fours.

You leave in the morning, the pup’s plopped on the couch,
And he stays there all day, that freeloading slouch.

He needs to get out, but the big question is where?
Ship him off for the day to Dogwood Cottage daycare.

Opened by the folks at Beacon Hill’s Four Preppy Paws,
To entertain doggies who have time on their claws.

This just-opened spot has room to run, jump, and play,
And Rover can get groomed during his 9 to 5 stay.

There’s round-the-clock staff, so no need to worry,
If you opt to board him, your best bud, so furry.

The cottage is in Melrose, which seems far away,
But there’s pickup and drop-off ev’ry weekday.

You’ll both be so happy when the long days are done,
At least while you’re working, someone’s having fun.
