Hey, diddle, diddle, the cat and the fiddle. Your dish ran away with your spoon. (Can you blame them?)
Lure them back in low-key Japanese style with Fog Linen Work table linens.
Designed by Yumiko Sekine and produced in Lithuania (where flax, which is spun into linen, grows in abundance), the super-soft woven collection is charmingly lumpy (in a wabi-sabi, countryish way). We love the muted palette of solid cream, light gray, and natural tan.
Patterns stick to quiet stripes, tiny checkers, and unassuming plaids. The line’s all about easy minimalism, so mix and match napkins, aprons, dish towels, and tablecloths.
Clearly we’re over the moon.
