You can pick your friends but not their noses.
When the urge to pick strikes, head to Land’s Sake Farm and get your hands dirty.
The Pick Your Own program lets you pluck your own organic strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or flowers at farmers market prices. Only this way, you’re totally the farmer (minus the dell).
The public spot practices sustainable agricultural methods — nothing is over-amassed — so don’t freak if you get there and something is unavailable for public culling. (You can always call ahead to see what’s what.)
If you’re not into reaping, you can shop the outdoor farm stand for the full bounty (zucchini, arugula, squash, herbs) along with Nashoba Brook baked goods, locally spun yarn, and fresh honey.
Sweeter than a roll in the hay.
