After being dragged to a speed-dating event (“I’m a botanist, and I play badminton and the French horn, and I don’t like dogs or mayo”), you realized it’s time to mix it up in a different way.

The statement necklaces literally drip with vintage brooches, skeleton keys, Swarovski crystals, freshwater pearls, even the occasional bean or nut. Chains are layered sterling silver and 14-karat-gold-filled links or black ribbons woven with the gilded stuff.
