Whether it’s the finishing touch to your Jack Sparrow costume or a little sumpin’ sumpin’ to cover the hole in your dungarees, a well-placed patch makes all the difference.

So when Patch NYC recently moved its design studio and showroom to Boston, it made Beantown even better.

The home accessories collection (designed and curated by Don Carney and John Ross) is a trove of original art, tote bags, scarves, pillows, throws, and whatever else they’re in the mood to design. Everything has a vintage (almost dusty) allure — from jewelry dripping with charms to handpicked, ever-changing antiques.

The little by-appointment-only shop is set up like a gallery, allowing you to drool over Carney’s ink line drawings (we’re obsessed with the hat series) and ponder Steve Murphy’s sculptures.

It’s so good, we can’t keep it under wraps.
