 Fly over to Miel for a nectar-infused, wine-accompanied feast ($75) — sage honey and sea-salted pork belly, honey-basted scallops, pineapple and honey gelee terrine — prepped with the ambrosial labor fruits of InterContinental Boston’s own rooftop apiary.
Why: An urban beekeeping tutorial kicks off the night.
When: Tues., 6:30 p.m.

DRINK
First Annual Boston Wine Week
What:
More than twenty in-city restos (Clink, Hungry I) offer at least six high-end, handcrafted wines by the glass ($9) or bottle ($32).
Why: A full week of related events at 75 Chestnut, including Tuesday’s Cookie and Wine sampler.
When: Mon.-Sept. 26.

Wonder Women of Boston Networking Event
What:
Pack the biz cards for a night of friendly, female-centric hobnobbing, plus complimentary snacks and raffle items from Wine Riot and Leap Organics.
Why: All proceeds go to Project Have Hope, helping women and children in Uganda.

Chef Brian Poe pays tribute to the Feast of Avalon with a “light and darkness” menu of $12 entrees, like upright “egg-uinox” tacos (chorizo, duck confit, and duck eggs poached in duck fat).
Why: Toast the change of seasons with a pumpkin margarita (pumpkin cider, cinnamon, lime juice, Añejo tequila, pumpkin sesame seed-sugared rim).
