We hate to brag, but we recently attended a fabulous party at NoMI, which reopened its spa and restaurant today after a four-month hiatus. First impression: Crowded, loud, and totally buzzed.
How could we not go back for more?
Our first stop: NoMI Spa. So long, high heels. Hello, Zen den. We found hot tea and artsy zines for the picking, plus mind-blowing antiaging Carita facials, customized aromatherapy blends, and mani/pedis with Deborah Lippmann polish.
Post-treatment spa snacks from NoMI Kitchen led us directly to the source. The open kitchen (you know, the one that’s in your dream house) and same knock-out view as before set the scene for chef Ryan LaRoche’s newly accessible, always elegant menu: English pea soup, foraged mushroom salad, a smaller raw bar, handmade tagliolini, and shareable plates.
More like NewMI.
