The Haymaker Shop Brings Sustainable Design to Andersonville

Local Goods with an Ecofriendly Bent

n. A punch delivered with great force, especially one that results in a knockout.

Andersonville’s newest furniture and home accessories store, The Haymaker Shop, may be more likely to pack punch bowls than punches, but it’s definitely designed to get your attention.

Owner Arrin Williams revamped the 1,500-square-foot former real estate office into a loftlike space that resembles a modern-day woodworker’s shop (exposed piping, tin ceilings, bright lighting). Graphic art from local artists peppers the walls.

Stock up on handmade, sustainable home goods and wares from mostly Midwest vendors: color-splashed posters from Legendre+Rutter, Iamhome’s reclaimed wood wall art, aprons by Winter Session, Eric Erf birdhouses, and more.

In the mood for a spruce up? It’s a contender.
