Craigslist Posting: Roommate Wanted

Looking for badass designer who enjoys midcentury-modern home decor, vintage curiosities, and local creative types. Come shack up with me!

Re: Roommate Wanted

I’m Annie Novotny, owner of recently shuttered Pilsen storefront Workshop. I’m looking for a space to launch and exclusively hold my fall collection. I’d like to set up a worktable, so customers can observe my design process and interact while they shop. Cool?

Sounds fab. Any local jewelry designers you can add to the mix?

– P

Yes. Rob Jeffries, Cities in Dust, Janet Ecklebarger, and Shades of Grey.

Love it. Tell me about your fall line.

– P

In fact, the collection is inspired by your shop: sleek separates with vintage and modern elements in an elegant palette (maroon, navy, black, gray, florals). Think wool and Tencel trousers, locally knit alpaca sweaters, a military blazer, and silk blouses.

Welcome to the family.
