Few Spirits Small-Batch Liquors

American Gin and White Whiskey

few spirits!

Many a liquor can get you buzzed, but few are truly exceptional.

Evanston’s Few Spirits lives up to its name.

At the recently launched small-batch distillery, owner Paul Hletko crafts old-fashioned libations combining organic grains with traditional recipes.

Eleven botanicals (including hops grown in Hletko’s own backyard) merge to enhance clean, refreshing American gin; white whiskey is a smooth alternative to the dark stuff you’re used to. Each bottle has a vintage-throwback label.

Can’t make it to Evanston for a Saturday tour and tasting (though it’s worth the drive)? Watering hole Longman & Eagle barkeep Dino Balocchi was so impressed with the distillery’s creations that he added a Few cocktail to the menu. Below, his riff on the Last Word.
