The sketch comedy group returns to the stage to address new laughing matters, including city budgets, protests, and drunken sports fans.
Why: They’re joined by stand-up comedian Brian Babylon, AV Club editor Marcus Gilmer, and Second City veteran Abby McEnany.

The Beckoning of Lovely Finale
What:
Author Amy Krouse Rosenthal spent three years making a film about human connection and drawing meaning from the everyday. It culminates in this feel-good public gathering, where Rosenthal delivers a few final surprises.
Why: The sure-to-be-viral film releases via YouTube on the same day.

The craft brewer takes over the taps at Jerry’s Sandwiches with seasonal and uncommon drafts. Lap up food specials (potato, ale, and cheddar soup; ale-braised pork shoulder) made especially to pair with the pours.
Why: Rare IPAs are rolled out throughout the night.
