A New Chicago Styling Team

Reclaimed Housewares from Dinner Party

dinner party chicago!

Solo cups have no place in society outside of fraternity parties.

Soiree throwers of the grown-up sort can rely on Dinner Party.

The new local company rents and sells vintage housewares — from cake stands and candy dishes to pitchers and tumblers — for gatherings of all kinds (weddings, too).

Friends since age 6, Lisa Spagnolo and Tricia Hyland have a knack for rummaging through fleas and estate sales for extra-special housewares.

Together, they’ve collected a knockout selection, including Frederic Remington and Spode dinner plates (Spagnolo suggests pairing the former with feminine dinnerware), Tiffany-style teacups, cream and sugar bowls, table linens, wooden serving platters, and more. The duo will even style and set up your event so everything looks seamless.

It’s as sustainable (if not more so) as using paper plates.

But you would never stoop so low.
