Monthly arrivals are, ahem, not something you usually look forward to.
Reverse the flow with a monthly delivery from new candy company House of Caramel.
Candymaker Michael Altshuler’s small-batch sweets started off as an experiment. Friends loved his creations so much he decided to go whole hog.
Chewy, buttery caramels are spiked with applewood-smoked bacon, orange zest, and secret spices. English butter toffee studded with hazelnuts, cashews, or almonds has a well-balanced crunchy-creamy ratio. Old-fashioned Southern brittle is packed with freshly toasted cashews, hazelnuts, peanuts, or sesame seeds.
Getting your fix is simple: Pick your candy, duration (three, six, or twelve months), and size, then get the equivalent of a birthday present delivered to your door every 30 days.
Upcoming flavor combos include lavender Earl Grey and vanilla sea salt caramels, as well as Asian-inspired brittle.
Let the cravings commence.
Available online at houseofcaramel.com, $42 and up.
