After spotting a 14-year-old rocking one of your coveted H&M purchases, you made a commitment to buy more local fashion (and practice abstinence).
Eskell’s got your back. Owner Kelly Whitesell and co-workers Elizabeth del Castillo and Meghan Lorenz (the designer behind Cities in Dust) recently launched the shop’s first jewelry collection.
Riffing on themes present in the store’s eponymous clothing line (deco, Victorian, modern), the threesome gathered dead stock vintage chains and beads and started crafting. The feminine collection includes necklaces, earrings, and bracelets, ten pieces of each style.
A brass drop necklace evokes a mini dream catcher; fan beads and deco-esque connector beads get punched up with antique Swarovski crystals; drop earrings combine neon ceramic and glass beads with brass charms.
New designs are constantly emerging.
No growing pains here.
