Eat, drink, repeat


Seasonal change is inevitable.

So when Spring closed its doors last year, the city weathered the storm.

We predict you’ll fall hard for the old bathhouse’s new inhabitant, Trenchermen.

It’s hard to go wrong with star chefs/brothers Mike and Pat Sheerin (Blackbird and Signature Room, respectively), seasoned restauranteur Matt Eisler (Nightwood, Bangers & Lace), and design guru Kevin Heisner (The Violet Hour, Bar DeVille) at the helm.

Sidle up to the black walnut bar (set low so you can eat comfortably) and sip one of Tona Palomino’s (WD-50) cocktails — we recommend the fizzy Bridge and Tunnel.

Dishes are beautifully composed yet approachable. Nibble on sepia noodles and pickled watermelon, scallops and bamboo rice, smoked sturgeon with chocolate malt granola, and braised pork belly with sorghum and plums.

Our general forecast: It’s the city’s newest hotspot.
