The ABCs of Study Hall

Get reeducated at a West Town boutique

study hall!

Everything you hated about school (studying, namely), you’ll love about Study Hall, West Town’s newest design-centric shop, soft opening today.

Husband and wife Malcolm Felder and Naoko Nagano DIYed the sunny space for a clean, industrial-meets-beachcomber look: orange hanging fixtures, clothing racks suspended from rope, steel ladders, and, of course, vintage desks.

Hit the books first, from A-frame to Leisurama Now to Quonset Hut. Practice your penmanship on graphic stationery by famed Michigan company Marüshka.

Get a history lesson on men’s Farah Vintage swim trunks and brightly colored K-Way windbreakers. Disobey the dress code with Covet blouses and shorts, summery Curator dresses, and Soludos espadrilles. Make the cool kids jealous with Manimal necklaces and Sabina bags.

Be sure to brush up on ecofriendly know-how with Izola bamboo toothbrushes and woodsy candles in recycled glass vessels.

We give them an A+.
