Bigger’s only better when it comes to bonuses and birth canals.
Food is a different story. Size down at Little Market American Brasserie, now softly open in The Talbott Hotel.
Best known as el jefe of Spanish cuisine, Ryan Poli (Tavernita, Mercadito) is singing an agreeable new tune. What we love most? His vast menu allows you to dine healthily any time of day.
Perk up in the morning with cilantro-flecked green juice; a Greek yogurt parfait or egg-white spinach omelet should keep you through lunch.
Midday, shrimp cocktail and a lightly dressed Caesar leave little to desire; come dusk, throw back a Tippling Bros. cocktail (hey, everything in moderation) before tucking into ceviche with taro chips, sunchokes with red wine vinaigrette, grilled squash with quinoa and almonds, or roast chicken with dried fruit.
If the lobster roll or crispy pork belly lead you astray, balance the scales with braised kale.
It’s a small wonder.
