Winter Block Party for Chicago’s Hip-Hop Arts
What: Let the beat drop with a day of film, music videos, dance battles, and poetry slams — curated by local poet and performer Kevin Coval and Vocalo’s Jesse Menendez.
Why: The evening program brings eight-piece Chicago hip-hop band Sidewalk Chalk, “fem-cee” Psalm One, rapper ADD-2, and more.
