Rebecca Mir Grady’s Refined Jewelry Debut

Channel the great outdoors

You prefer minimalism to magnificence, hiking to heels.

Rebecca Mir Grady’s debut jewelry line should be a natural fit.

A longtime lover of metalworking, Grady spent her teenage years apprenticing to jewelers in her Maine hometown. Art school (SAIC) brought her to Chicago, where she sharpened her skills working for fine jewelry designer Sarah McGuire. When she began transforming her drawings into designs that her friends fawned over, she knew she had to strike out on her own.

Made from recycled sterling silver and fourteen-karat gold, the understated necklaces, earrings, rings, and bracelets draw inspiration from land (mountain ranges), sea (Greenland icebergs), and sky (aviation icons), among other sources.

Trace a rocky landscape across the Appalachian studs and see the shape of airplane wings in her Earhart cuff. The Hera earrings, our personal favorite, mimic raindrops.

You can’t get more down-to-earth.

Available at rebeccamirgrady.com, $22-$500.
