The sun on your face. The wind in your hair. And 500 pounds of steel and chrome between your legs. Only one thing left to do. Make her hum. Mind out of the gutter, please. We’re talking bikes. At Ride-Chicago, you learn the basics of motorcycle riding — no experience or bike necessary. (They provide the hog and the helmet — you provide the cocked head and hand-on-hip attitude.) The two-day course covers everything you need to know to get a license to ride. Day one: Focus on the fundamentals (controls, shifting, turning, and stopping). Day two: Shift gears to street riding. Classes are small, with anywhere from 6-10 students, so you’ll get the attention you need before you hit the road. What can we say except the obvious? Baby, you were born to ride.
