Waste Not, Want Not

MioCultureLab Home Accessories

Remember childhood dinners? No having fun (freeze tag, TV, torturing younger siblings) until after you finished eating. Which meant creatively shuffling your chicken cutlet and string beans into hiding.

Philadelphia-based design collective MioCultureLab takes reusable materials (wastepaper, wool felt, electrical components, aluminum) and transforms them into clever high-design home accessories like felt-shaded lamps and 3-D wallpaper tiles that can be arranged in countless configurations. The pieces are ideal for small apartments and all created for easy disassembly as well as, naturally, recycling.

And so the cycle continues …
