You’re the rescuing kind.
From friends trapped in boring conversations to the French bulldog-beagle puppy now ruling your roost, you love to save the day.
Which makes you a perfect candidate for Dolan Geiman’s latest stroke of genius: Rescued Clothing. A visual artist who specializes in multilayered paintings, Geiman’s extending his artsy-DIY-reconstructive aesthetic to the masses — using hand-printed and stitched patches, screen-printing, found fabrics, and vintage accents to spruce up tired T-shirts, button-downs, cardigans, jeans, skirts, and just about anything else you pull from your closet.
The catch: Taking direction is not his thing. You hand over your garment and get back a one-of-a-kind work of art.
If it doesn’t turn out like you hoped, take heart. You’ve been rescued.
From looking the same as everyone else.
