At a Crossroads

You go through clothes like some people  go through men.

Invest heavily at the onset, wear them out quickly, and toss them aside when you’re done.

Thankfully, there’s help for your kind: Straight from the Bay Area, Crossroads Trading Co. is a depot for all your old rags. Yes, it’s a resale shop, but instead of buying and selling $2 polyester pants from the ’70s they sell $30 Marc Jacobs shirts from the ’00s. So, while handing over your old Sevens to the Salvation Army might get you some much needed good karma, giving them to Crossroads will get you some much needed cash.

The only catch: Clothes must be in tip-top shape (read: no wine stains, dog hair, or cigarette burns) and still in vogue (Juicy Couture, Citizens of Humanity, Coach). Inventory is updated weekly, so there’s always something new for the picking.

Because one girl’s good-bye is another’s good fortune.
