Hold Your Horses

Man, you grew up fast. One day, you were filling out college applications. Next thing you knew, you had traded them for 1040s.

Adulthood doesn’t have to be all death and taxes. Being a grown-up has benefits, too. Like no curfew, no rules, and no “because I said so.”

And no one to stop you from ordering a quadruple scoop of Plush Horse homemade ice cream.

Made in the same Palos Park Victorian ice cream parlor since 1937, flavors include mint chocolate chip, bubblegum, butter cream, chocolate malt, apple pie, and, of course, chocolate and vanilla.

Not up for a trip to the burbs? The Plush Horse staff delivers fresh batches every week to Suckers Candy in Roscoe Village. So you don’t have to truck it out of the city if you don’t feel like it.

Another perk of adulthood.
