Ditch the S&M and try a little S&S — Semmerling and Schaefer Mask Artists Studios, at the Inside Out Art Studio. The crafty duo has been teaching mask making since 1986, specializing in handcrafted leather, neoprene, and papier-mâché masks using real faces as molds.

Learn to make your own disguise at one of their intensive workshops, or, if you’re not up for a project, pick one of their ready-to-wear feathered and jeweled numbers right off the wall. Their work has been commissioned by the likes of the Goodman Theatre and the Disney-MGM Studios Theme Park, so you can be sure of its quality.

And that you won’t be just another slut in the crowd.
