Too much of a good thing: not good.
Take note, bronzer, Botox, and champagne. Not to mention what happens if you, God forbid, combine them. (Whose idea were Botox cocktails, anyway?)
Best advice: Keep it simple. Before you let out a collective cry of booooring, take in Siahou, Chicago designer Danielle Weingarten’s first foray into a full collection. Siahou is, simply put, nothing short of spectacular. And though it sticks to the basics — pants, tops, and skirts in black, navy, and gray — the effect is anything but.
A charcoal high-neck sweater that you can wear buttoned up or down. An elbow-length puff-sleeve jacket with pleating at the waist. The perfect short trouser to take you into fall.
Siahou was designed to be worn as both complete suiting (during the week) and separates (TGIF), so don’t be surprised if that ribbon-belted jacket you rocked for your Wednesday meeting ends up on the floor of some guy’s apartment come Saturday night.
Just do us a favor: Don’t tell us about it.
That’s too much information.
