We love us a therapist. Lie on their couch for an hour, free associate, pay, and leave.
But some people prefer not to take their problems lying down.
Suzanne Juul is one of them. Instead, she knits.
Juul dedicated herself to the craft after losing her mother. She spent up to eighteen hours a day with her needles, discovering a knack for color and texture. Hundreds of hours later, her first collection was born.
The spring designs are all knit from organic bamboo, an airy, breathable fiber that keeps you cool in the summer and cozy in the winter. Try the Blanket (an oversize ’80s-style shirt) or the Eternity shawl (a loosely knit scarf that’s one giant loop).
And considering Chicago’s track record with spring weather, both should prove to be quite practical.
Only a knitwit would disagree.
