Table Turners

They won’t eat green food. Or anything earth- or tree-born. And they want Ritz Bitz now, because Gracie’s mom lets her have them whenever she wants!

For centuries, parents have attempted to solve the picky eater conundrum. No dice.

Until now. Elena Marre’s new venture, The Kids’ Table, may be the secret to parental bliss. In an ecofriendly, homey space designed with little learners in mind, Marre leads classes that turn cooking and nutrition into child’s play.

Tykes ages 2 to 10 can learn healthy food 101, from veggie washing to dish cleaning. Marre uses organic ingredients to create easy, healthful recipes that kids can take from her table to theirs.

Themed four-week sessions (Dynamite Dips and Mexican Munchies are lined up for April and May) provide little ones with time to learn techniques. Parents can enroll in Baby Food Basics and Thinking Outside the (Lunch) Box, among others.

With so many different options, it’ll be hard to choose just one.

So maybe picky’s not so bad after all.
