Ah, Wouldn’t It Be Lovely

Lovely Bakeshop Opens

All you want is a place somewhere,
Serving sweets with a home-style flair,
With couches, stools, and chairs,
It’s here! Its name is Lovely.

Lots of pastries as you will see,
Southern treats like an ol’ sweet tea,
And pies, cookies, whoopee!
It’s all at Lovely.

Take a little peek at the charming decor,
Chalkboard bar, rocking chairs, a general store.

At the shop there are gifts so nice,
Handmade aprons by Lisa Price,
And dishes to entice,
Please come down to Lovely.

Rest your laurels and use your Mac,
With a joe and scone for snack,
The ambiance does not lack,
It sure is very Lovely.

Vintage photos of Granny and Grandpa, too,
Hang on walls painted shiny robin’s egg blue.

Ask them nice and they’ll make a cake,
Or rent their space for your next clambake,
It’s true, for goodness sakes!
