Dearest Rebecca Ann Rakstad,

We’re writing to tell you that we’re oh so fond of your radical, colorful letterpress postcards.

A little birdie told us you named your company Rar Rar Press because your initials are R.A.R. (How sweet!) The bird also mentioned you are self-taught, with the exception of a letterpress class at Columbia College. Wowsers.

And we agree: There’s no better way to express gratitude, congratulate, or just say “hi” than with a handwritten note. What with more than 100 postcards to choose from, you’ve found a phrase for every occasion.

We sent “Get Awesome” to a pouty pal. And “F$#! what you heard” to a writer friend after her first bad review. (After her first good one, we sent “Yippee!”)

Bottom line, we think you’re swell. And we’re usually right about these things.
