A Mug’s Life
Lobi Mugs

One morning, in a sleepy stupor, you learned that not all coffee cups are created equal — especially when microwaves meet small glass vases (would you like some shards with that cup of joe?).
Now you’re more careful about the receptacle you use for your morning jolt.
Take note, then, of Lobi mugs, hand-painted ceramic cups by a designer/librarian straight out of Oak Park. The vessels are sturdy enough to withstand both microwave and dishwasher. (That’s your lazy, precaffeinated brain breathing a sigh of relief.)
Simple black line doodles add a touch of whimsy to your a.m. routine. The drawings are freaky and cute and include everything from veggies and books to octopi and robots.
You’ll especially like the quirky smiles on each figure.
Think of them as mug shots.
