A Religious Experience

Grace Opens

Let us pray.

We bow our heads in gratitude for Bucktown’s latest boutique. Our prayers have been answered in the form of Grace, a glorious addition to the Damen Avenue shopping strip, opening Friday.

We thank you for the bountiful gifts which we are about to receive: heels, pumps, flats, boots. Blessed is the assortment of Anya Hindmarch, London Sole, and Luciano Padovan shoes, carefully selected and watched over by owner Kristi Ryan. Had she not had the good sense to return to her retail roots after corporations and cubicles, we would still be searching for ways to redeem our soles.

Please watch over our feet, keeping them healthy and well pedicured. And please give us the strength and balance we need to wear those four-inch Missoni leather and velvet numbers.

And let us say, “Amen.”
