Stuff It
Customized Dog Stuffed Animals

Your dog is supposed to be your best friend. But best friends don’t chew your shoes. Or eat (then regurgitate) your copy of The New Yorker before you read it. Or mark their territory on your brand new bedspread.
Sometimes you wish cuddling and loving were all you got.
For the nuzzling you need with none of the noise and nuisance, get fabric artist Jessica Drewry to create a custom stuffed version of your mischievous pup.
Start by sending her a photo and description of Dudley’s demeanor. You’ll help choose the fabric and within a month will have a plush toy that won’t make a peep (or a poop).
Imagine your baby in red velvet with a gingham belly. Or better, two pair of paisley paws. Drewry’s stuffed pups are works of art, good for both decoration and snuggling.
Just reserve the real love for the living, breathing (and sometimes devious) Dudley.
After all, his bark is worse than his bite.
Available at Red Dog House, 2031 North Damen Avenue, at McLean Avenue (773-227-7341 or reddoghouse.com).
