Skin Deep
Pelle Sana Salon Opens

On life’s list of virtues, patience isn’t in your top five (okay, ten).
However many deep breaths (and muscle relaxers) you take, you just can’t stop things from getting under your skin.
So why don’t you let someone else give it a try? Head over to aesthetician Beth Bialko’s new shop Pelle Sana (“healthy skin” in Italian). A former instructor for Dermalogica and the International Dermal Institute, Bialko customizes her treatments so no two are alike.
In the cozy spot with just one treatment room, the focus is on you, you, you. Bialko starts with a prefacial consultation, choosing products to target your problem areas. After a steam, she applies Dermalogica and Yon-ka cleansers, masks, and creams. The session ends with a personalized post-facial skin care prescription plan, so you can continue the regimen all on your own.
By the time you leave, you’ll have “relaxed” written all over your face.
