Off the runway, supermodels choose all different walks of life.
Heidi hit Hollywood. Turlington took up the Tao. And Janice regularly pumps up with collagen.
Helena Christensen went from scenester to behind the scenes. Her line, Christensen & Sigersen, is a collaboration with longtime floral designer pal, Leif Sigersen. A whimsical throwback to Danish farmers (who were obviously quite stylish), the fall collection is cozy, comfortable, and designed to fend off the chill.
Wool and knits stand front and center, with a warm color palette of chocolate brown, charcoal gray, deep blue, and hints of yellow. Give the weather a run for its money with sailor pants and a cropped jacket (with detachable hood and knot buttons).
You can find the collection at just three boutiques nationwide, and one of them happens to be right here in Chicago.
Better work on that strut.
