Thanksgiving to-do list:

1. Go to parents’ house and take nap on couch.

2. Call old “friends” you don’t want to see.

3. Visit neighborhood bar and immediately regret it.

4. Spend night avoiding eye contact with everyone you went to high school with.

5. Remember to wear new Jamison holiday outfit. Because if you’re going to make the effort, you may as well look good doing it.

The new holiday collection is all about festive yet sophisticated cashmere sweaters and dresses (unlike Aunt Joyce’s cornycopia cardigan). Eclectic solids (black, mushroom, ivory, electric blue, berry, nettle) are embellished with lines of sequins, creating a long, lean shape that works nicely with leggings or jeans (even the ones you found in your old closet).

That’s something to be thankful for.
