What’s Cookin’?

My Gourmet Kitchen Opens

what's cookin?

The closest you come to cooking these days? Watching the Food Network while you eat your takeout.

Kick things up a notch at My Gourmet Kitchen, Chicago’s first independent, organic prep kitchen. Reserve a spot, choose from the list of entrees, prepare them on site, and take the meals home.

It’s practically impossible to screw up. Measuring devices are placed next to ingredients, and everything is prechopped and ready to combine. The menu changes monthly; November brings Caribbean rum shrimp, lavender roasted chicken, and more.

No dishes, no disasters. Just healthy, home-cooked meals in a fraction of the time. Prepare larger portions if you want easy-reheat leftovers. If you’re especially incompetent or don’t have time, pick up premade meals to go.

That’ll give TV dinners a whole new meaning.

My Gourmet Kitchen, 2333 West North Avenue, at Claremont Avenue (773-278-5800 or mygourmetkitchen.com).
