Get Your Goat
Demy Lee Cashmere

Gray skies, bone-chilling cold, and a slowly dying social life.
Winter brings little to get excited about.
Exception: Demy Lee cashmere sweaters, the perfect barrier against December chills.
Parsons grad Demy Lee worked at Calvin Klein, Gap, and Tory Burch before launching her 100 percent cashmere sweater line this past fall. Using yarn from Inner Mongolian goats (known for producing the finest, softest threads), she makes tunics, drop-waist sweater dresses, cardigans, and wraps in earthy shades like oatmeal, charcoal, and navy with punches of violet, fuchsia, and chartreuse.
We’re fans of the big-buttoned Sawyer fisherman’s sweater. And the pleats and cozy balloon sleeves on the Emma cardigan are so sweet, you may be disappointed to see spring roll around.
Or not.
Available at Roslyn, 2035 North Damen Avenue, between McLean and Dickens Avenues (773-489-1311).
