Hey Mondel

LuLu’s Mondel Bread

yum yum in your belly!

The Zone says to stay away from bread. Dr. Oz tells us to avoid cookies.

But no one ever said anything about bread that is also a cookie.

Looks like you’re free to dive into LuLu’s Mondel Bread. If the word mondel means nothing to you, take biscotti, subtract the stale crunch, and voila. When baked to crumbly sweet perfection, there’s truly nothing better.

Lauren Harris (Lulu) learned to bake the treat from her Grandma Gussie back in Lincoln Park (Harris now lives in L.A.). Using fresh, preservative-free, and organic ingredients (when possible), she creates flavors from the traditional almond and chocolate chip to the racier heath bar, pistachio and dried cherry, and peanut butter chip. She’ll even bake custom breads on request (cayenne pepper, anyone?).

Order a batch, and Harris will ship it to your door.

She’s the mon.
