Pop quiz! Which one of these statements is true?

a) Global warming is a crock.
b) Last year, Chicago schools spent more on energy costs than on textbooks or computers.
c) Al Gore makes homemade undies from leaves.

Ba da bing! B is correct.

Sure, schools choose heat over HPs. But what kids gain in comfort, they lose in clarity. Climate Cycle, a nonprofit dedicated to funding the purchase and installation of solar energy systems in Chicago public schools, aims to change that.

Through donations and cycling, you can help. Register for the first annual ride on October 4. Then, start fund-raising (riders are asked to raise a minimum of $200). The money you raise will educate kids, save schools money (solar energy is cheaper than paying utilities), and contribute to global warming prevention.

Start now.

It could be the ride of your life.
