Sibling Pievalry

Twisted Sister Bakery

yum! yum!

A saboteur, you destroy healthy relationships, happy endings, and anything positive that comes your way.

Sabotage your summer slim down at Twisted Sister Bakery, Old Town’s newest sweet spot.

Before setting up shop, co-owner Lisa Alexander collected recipes for more than 30 years, and it shows. Start small with buttery bite-size cookies in flavors like berry white and tea cloud. (Careful — they’re sold by the pound.) Next, nibble on a blueberry lemon tart or blackberry cookie bar. Then go for the slam dunk with a banana cream pie tart made with homemade pastry cream, fresh banana, chocolate shavings, and whipped cream.

Comfy noshing is crucial, and you’ll find it here among exposed brick walls and a wood-burning fireplace. They’re open ’til 10 p.m. (9 p.m. on Sundays) to satisfy late-night cravings.

Even better, Twisted Sister will custom frost any cupcake of your choice.

Betcha can’t ruin that.
