Larsen Gray Summer Collection

Summer in Chicago poses a conundrum: You want to be outside all day, but it’s too bleeping hot to wear clothes.
You’d go naked, but your alderman would probably come after you.
Don’t go nudist. Go Larsen Gray. Throw on one of the label’s airy, organic cotton dresses for a look that’s barely there (yet not completely bare). The summer collection is reminiscent of India, with twists on the traditional sari and a bright color scheme (orange, pink, blue, and magenta balanced by gray).
Designers Nora Caliguri and Rachelyn Porter try to be as ecofriendly as possible, relying on soybean fibers and recycled fabrics for many of their designs. In fact, the line’s name comes from the Larsen polar ice shelves, which have been slowly disintegrating as a result of global warming.
The color-paneled summer frocks are a welcome alternative to your pale ass.
