Screen-printing Classes with Zissou Tasseff-Elenkoff

Kindles, iPhones, a show called The Wire.
The printed word isn’t having a great run these days.
Buck the trend and try screen-printing classes from Zissou Tasseff-Elenkoff, a School of the Art Institute grad with mad skills and a Cockney accent to boot.
Tasseff-Elenkoff will teach you the ins and outs of the process: Start with a simple exposed image then press ink through a screen onto the material of your choice (paper, textile, wood, metal), and the image will be transposed. He’s got the goods; all you need is your imagination (and your humility).
Pick your hours (he suggests two to four a week) and perhaps a friend (he’ll teach pairs) and get crafty. Both newbies and vets are welcome.
You can also check out Elenkoff’s incredible work for sale online.
And that’s all the news that’s fit to print.
