Petey’s Playhouse

Angels & Kings Opens

heaven only knows!

Omnipotent Voiceover: Welcome to Angels & Kings, the gateway to eternal nightlife bliss.

Terrified Patron: T-t-thank you. Can I wear these shoes?

OV: There’s no dress code! We’re aqua-sock friendly.

TP: Sweet! Is the space comfortable?

OV: It’s heavenly — designed like a loungey living room with rustic barn wood and vintage furniture. Feels just like home. Except for the stage.

TP: Stage?!

OV: Live karaoke Wednesdays and random performances by visiting artists, baby. Ballers like Jay-Z hang at the AK in NYC. You never know who’ll show up.

TP: David Schwimmer?!

OV: Perhaps. It’s headed up by Pete Wentz and the dudes behind LBC, Empire Liquors, and Five Star. Talk about cred. But you can’t come in.

TP: Huh?

OV: It’s 8 a.m., cowboy. Gotta wait ’til the doors open.

TP: Ungodly!

OV: Touche.
