Tomatoes are sorely misunderstood. Forced to deny their fruit roots, they’re squeezed, salted, and squirted, all in the name of condiments.
But every tomato has a sweet side.
And Tomato Mountain, an organic farm in Brooklyn, Wisconsin, is dedicated to preserving it. The place grows different kinds of summer tomatoes, carefully selecting varieties, planting seeds, and harvesting at the peak of ripeness and freshness to produce the highest quality, most flavorful preserves on the market.
Front and center: sungold tomato jam. Unlike anything you’ve ever tasted, the tropical-flavored, orange-cherry-tomato concoction pairs perfectly with crackers or good old-fashioned PB.
Strawberry, strawberry-raspberry, and sugar-free varieties are also available.
If you’re in a pickle.
